Saved. Born Again. Salvation.
You hear these words often around church, or at least you should. A lot of people may hear the words, but not understand what they should mean to them.

SAVED
Saved from what? That would be the question that would pop into a lot of people’s mind. Being saved, is to be delivered from the condemnation of our sin. The eternal price we pay for sin, unless we are saved, is damnation in Hell, forever separated from God and with no hope.

BORN AGAIN
Being born again, is the spiritual new birth and new beginning that happens when Jesus comes into your heart and life and cleanses you from sin.
John 3:3 Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.”

SALVATION
Salvation is the experience of being delivered from the consequences of sin, by repenting and professing belief in Jesus as Lord and Savior, to be spiritually born again with Christ as your Lord.
Romans 10:9 If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

If you are not born again, if you’ve never had a salvation experience, now is a good time. Its easy to do, and you will be eternally grateful that you did. Here is a simple outline:
A. Admit you are a sinner
B. Believe in Jesus
C. Confess that Jesus is Lord

You can speak to God, by praying to him, and do these ABC steps in a simple prayer. Following is an example guide for your prayer. Repeating these words is meaningless, unless you believe in your heart and speak to God for yourself in your own words.
A sample prayer for salvation:
Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
